Last day in Santiago de Compostella

A few last pictures before we leave of Maria, Roman and I. Also the crypt containing the remains of the Apostle St. James.

The memorial flowers and candles are for the victims of the the train wreck that happened here last Thursday killing, I think, 75 people.

Santiago de Compostella

We arrived at the Cathedral at 10 am completing 750 kms of walking over 4 weeks.  The legend is St. James the Apostle washed ashore near, and was buried  buried here.

From my room i can see the spires of the cathedral.

Tomorrow we fly to London for a week of sight seeing before heading home. On the first we are training up to Edinburgh for a day of sight seeing.

Pics to follow.
